Alliance Venture is a venture capital firm managing venture funds investing in privately held, early stage technology companies.

Alliance Venture was formed in 2001 by a team of experienced executives, with a good balance between operations and business, applied research, entrepreneurial and financial background that enables efficient investment evaluations and active follow-up. This is supported by a network of strategic alliances, who can contribute with know-how, deal flow, due-diligence, co-investments and partnerships with the portfolio companies.

No 8 Ventures is New Zealand's leading technology venture capital fund manager. The fund invests in early stage New Zealand technology companies which have the potential to be large and international.

Founded in 1999, No8 Ventures has invested in 14 young New Zealand companies, ranging from telco software companies to early stage human pharmaceuticals biotech. Several of these companies have grown to be international companies with significant operations outside New Zealand.

The Renaissance Group has been active in Central Europe since 1994. Its roots, however, are much deeper and date back to 1950, when Franklin Pitch Johnson, as one of the pioneers, was defining a new asset class called Venture Capital in his investment activities. After the transformation of Central Europe to a free market economy, with his support a group of experienced businessmen, Pitch helped bring European Renaissance Capital to life. Together, with associated companies, they were early pioneers of Venture Capital investment activities in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

Renaissance Funds support businesses with strong potential for development in projects at their various development stages, from start-ups through development, MBO, LBO, to mergers and acquisitions.

 

The Russian Technology Fund ("TRTF" or "RTF") is focused on technology related venture capital investment opportunities in Russia. It was established in 1995 in St. Petersburg. RTF was the first Russian venture capital fund specializing in technology-based companies. A substantial portion of the Fund's capital came from private international investors in Europe and the United States.

RTF has invested in private Russian companies, which are focused primarily on the commercial exploitation of technology products and are characterized by high growth potential in the domestic and international markets. RTF is now working with portfolio companies to help them expand in the global marketplace and partner with western companies. Several of the Fund's companies have recorded rapid revenues and profitability growth in the Russian and international markets.

 

Founded in May 2003, Jardim Botanico Investimentos is an independent asset management firm focusing on equity investments in Brazil.
